

Prime Video has unveiled the first-look images of the highly anticipated prequel series, Terminal List: Dark Wolf. This sequel will follow Ben Edwards played by Taylor Kitsch (Battleship, John Carter), as he transitions from being a member of the Navy to a covert CIA operative. The series is set to premiere on August 27, 2025, with three episodes available on launch day, followed by new episodes released every Wednesday. The prequel is being developed by the same co-creators of the original series, Jack Carr (Red Sky Mourning, The Devil’s Hand) and David DiGilio (Eight Below, Crossbones). View the photos below.
Prime Video noted, the finale to the previous series saw James Reece, played by Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy, The Super Mario Bros. Movie), in a state of turmoil after learning the deep secret behind the death of his platoon mates. It was revealed that it was his friend Ben was an insider and had leaked false information. He then went to confront the madam secretary, Katie Buranek, played by Constance Wu (Crazy Rich Asians, Wish Dragon), and her involvement, but then she killed herself. It ends with James getting surgery and sailing away on a boat towards Mozambique.
According to Prime Video, recurring cast member Tom Hopper (The Umbrella Academy, Space Cadet) will be joining Kitsch and Pratt as Raife Haistings, along with new addition Luke Hemsworth (Thor: Love and Thunder, Death of Me) as Jules Landry). The newly released images offer a glimpse into the series’ gritty aesthetic, showcasing intense action sequences and the atmosphere that the series is well known for. Furthermore, all of the unanswered questions that linger fans within the original could potentially be solved.
As fans await for the release and additional information about the prequel series, all episodes of the first season of The Terminal List are now available for streaming on Prime Video.
