Disney Channel’s Good Luck Charlie had a surprise reunion this week! TV Line reports that after all these years, Mia Talerico (Charlie) and her TV dad, Eric Allan Kramer (True Romance, Robin Hood: Men in Tights), reunited on-screen. Bradley Steven Perry (Mighty Med and Lab Rats: Elite Force), who played Gabe Duncan on the show, surprised Kramer during an episode of Perry’s YouTube show Cooking With Bradley.
In a clip on TV Line of Cooking with Bradley, Perry offers Kramer a surprise menu item, an appearance from Talerico. The amicable encounter almost leaves Kramer in tears as they reminisce on the good times, paired with Perry’s entertaining and humorous editing.
In the 10-minute video, the trio makes shrimp scampi. Kramer played both Perry and Talerico’s father on the show.
Throughout its four-season run from April 2010 to February 2014, Good Luck Charlie largely follows Teddy Duncan, played by Bridgit Mendler (Wizards of Waverly Place, Lemonade Mouth), the second oldest member of the Duncan family, as she feels concerned that she won’t be able to spend much time with her toddler sister while she is away at college.
So, in place of this, Teddy records video diaries for her sister as she imparts wisdom and knowledge on everyday life, ending each one with “Good luck, Charlie.”
Since the show’s end, Kramer has still been in the spotlight, starring on AMC’s Lodge 49 and guest-starring on big TV shows like Fuller House, The Conners, 9-1-1, Station 19, and a March episode of C.S.I.: Vegas.
Perry has also been on several different Disney XD productions, and he has guest-starred on shows like Schooled and S.W.A.T. On the other hand, Talerico played Paige on the Brat TV show Mani.
Head on over to TV Line to see Kramer’s whole reaction to being reunited with his “most favored” TV daughter.
