Exactly one month prior to its second season premiere, the Apple TV+ series Servant has already received the green-light for a third season, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The M. Night Shyamalan (Split) produced series stars Lauren Ambrose (Six Feet Under) and Toby Kebbell (Fantastic Four) as a grieving couple, Dorothy and Sean, who bring their mysterious nanny, Leanne, played by Nell Tiger Free (Game of Thrones), to live with them.
The upcoming second season of the series is slated to premiere on January 15 and “takes a supernatural turn as Leanne returns to Dorothy and Sean’s brownstone and her true nature comes to light,” as The Hollywood Reporter reports. Early pickups, like that of Servant, have become the norm at Apple, having renewed comedies Dickinson and Ted Lasso through their third seasons in October. Servant‘s second season renewal was announced just four weeks after the streamer launched – one week before the series debut in 2019.
