Selena Gomez has taken to Instagram to share her thoughts on what it was like to work with three-time Oscar winner Meryl Streep (The Devil Wears Prada, Out Of Africa in Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building. Gomez is best known for her role as Alex in the Disney Channel show Wizards of Waverly Place, as well as Spring Breakers and the Hotel Transylvania film franchise.
She said, “Well we wrapped season 3 of @onlymurdershulu -I’m not sure I have enough words to explain just how beautiful this season has been. It has been deliriously hilarious, challenging and for me, an absolute dream. I’ll post more soon. But I’ll I leave it with the woman I adore, look up to and love.”

The murder-mystery became a hit on the platform following its 2021 release. It has won three Emmys and has received a 99% tomatometer and 92% audience score on Rotten Tomatoes.
News of Streep’s casting made headlines back in January, although information about her character is very vague. Several other guest stars are set to appear in the third season, including Paul Rudd (Ant-Man, Knocked Up), Jesse Williams (The Cabin in the Woods, Grey’s Anatomy), Ashley Park (Emily in Paris, Beef), Tina Fey (Date Night, 30 Rock), Ryan Broussard (Jack Reacher: Never Go Back, The Big Short), and Andrea Martin (My Big Fat Greek Wedding, Black Christmas).
The Hulu original series hails from co-creators John Hoffman (Grace and Frankie, Looking) and Steve Martin (Bringing Down the House, Cheaper By the Dozen). Martin also leads the show, alongside Gomez and Martin Short (The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause, Inherent Vice) as a trio of crime-solving podcast nerds.
