The brand new trailer for season two of the hit Marvel Studios series Loki has just dropped. According to ComicBook, the show will be streaming on Disney+. It will follow the character Loki, played by actor Tom Hiddleston (Crimson Peak), as he ventures across different universes post-death from Avengers: Infinity War and gets away from time in Avengers: Endgame.
Season two of Loki will take off after Loki meets and lets Sylvie kill Jonathan Majors’ (Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania) character, He Who Remains, who is a different version of Kang who had been tasked with preserving the Sacred Timeline by the Time Variance Authority. Hence, Loki must now face a version of the multiverse that has been drastically changed. Marvel Studios has also released another trailer for Loki earlier. In the video, it was teased that Miss Minutes, played by Tara Strong (The Fairly Odd Parents), would be making a comeback along with many different variants of Loki.
Owen Wilson’s (Night at The Museum) character Mobius M. Mobius, a TVA agent, will also return to season two of Loki. Wilson stated that during his first time being on the show, he “thought I would have a good time, but I really enjoyed it. I’ve been lucky working on a million movies and always having a good time, but on that one, I had a really great time, and that continued on Season Two. Maybe even more so because we were filming in London and being there at Pinewood, but yeah, [his story] just goes deeper.”
Loki season two will be returning to screens on October 6th. Marvel Studios’ official show synopsis tells fans that “Loki Season 2 picks up in the aftermath of the shocking season finale when Loki finds himself in a battle for the soul of the Time Variance Authority. Along with Mobius, Hunter B-15, and a team of new and returning characters, Loki navigates an ever-expanding and increasingly dangerous multiverse in search of Sylvie, Judge Renslayer, Miss Minutes, and the truth of what it means to possess free will and glorious purpose.”
