Apple TV noted that they have a multi-series deal with Legacy Entertainment, which not only includes the second season of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters but also multiple spin-off series based on the franchise.

The Legendary Monsterverse is a story about a universe centered around the battle to survive in a catastrophic new reality. The universe began with the Godzilla film in 2014, and continues through 2027 with the anticipated sequel, Godzilla x Kong: Supernova, with many more in between.

The first season follows siblings’ search for clues as they uncover their family connections to the Monarch, a covert organization. They are led down a rabbit hole where they meet Lee Shaw, an army officer, played by father and son Kurt and Wyatt Russell. The show also takes place in the past, as we learn Shaw’s history with Monarch and how he poses a threat to their goals in the present.

Season two will find our heroes and foes converge on Skull Island when a new monster rises. Present and past will blur as they combat an inevitable Titan event. View the teaser announcement below.

Viewers can stream season one of Monarch: Legacy of Monsters only on Apple TV.
