Season Two Of ‘Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches’ Announces Winter Premiere Date

The premiere date for season two of Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches was just announced at New York Comic Con. Deadline reports that the series, which stars Alexandra Daddario (The White Lotus, Why Women Kill), will premiere on January 5 on AMC and AMC+.

Based on the novels by Rice, Mayfair Witches is the second series in the Immortal Universe, a shared universe that began in 2022 with Interview with the Vampire. Mayfair continues the saga of Rowan Mayfair after she has unwittingly given birth to the demon Lashe, portrayed by Jack Huston (Manhunt, Fargo). She is determined to understand what he has become – human or monster? – and plans to use him to fulfill her purpose as a healer. But when tragedy strikes, she must put aside her own desires and fight to protect her family.

According to AMC, the first season of Mayfair Witches delivered the most-viewed season of any series ever on AMC+, “ahead of Interview and the final season of The Walking Dead.” A ratings hit, season one of Mayfair Witches is available to stream on AMC+.

In addition to Daddario starring as Rowan Mayfair, the upcoming second season also stars Ben Feldman (Superstore, Population 11) as Sam ‘Lark’ Larkin, Tongayi Chirisa (Another Life) as Ciprien Grieve and Harry Hamlin (Veronica Mars) as Cortland Mayfair.

The series is executive produced by Mark Johnson (Breaking BadBetter Call Saul), showrunner Esta Spalding (Party of FiveThe Bridge), Tom Williams (The Holdovers), Michelle Ashford (Masters of SexThe Pacific), Christopher Rice. The late Anne Rice was also an executive producer. Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches is produced by AMC Studios.
