HBO Max revealed a brand new trailer for the fourth season of Titans. This trailer will preview an upcoming war between the Titans and Brother Blood, Lex Luthor, and the Church of Blood, according to Screen Rant.
This trailer makes it appear as though the villains are working together in a conspired allegiance that is fueled by corruption and alliteration, which particularly overshadows Superboy, granted he has a unique relationship with Luthor and Dick Grayson, who classifies Luthor as the only man Bruce Wayne was ever afraid of, according to Comicbook.
Titans’ season four synopsis, according to the trailer posted on HBO Max’s YouTube page, is, “Having saved Gotham, the Titans hit the road to head back to San Francisco. But after a stop in Metropolis, they find themselves in the crosshairs of a supernatural cult with powers unlike anything they’ve faced before.”
Titans is based on the Teen Titans mythology, but is a tenacious live-action re-imagination of the quintessential DC team that reflects the story of Nightwing and his gang of heroes as they encounter numerous perils.
Season four introduces one of the Teen Titans’ biggest foes in the form of Brother Blood, who is being played by Joseph Morgan (The Originals, Brave New World). The arrival of Brother Blood will also bring forth the arrival of his supernatural cult, Church of Blood. The cult’s arrival also brings forth Mother Mayhem, played by Franka Potente (The Bourne Identity, Run Lola Run), as a secondary antagonist. After countless name-dropping of the infamous Lex Luthor, DC finally is ready to introduce this power player being played by Titus Welliver (Transformers: Age of Extinction, Gone Baby Gone). Another known Teen Titans foe will be making their debut in season four of Titans, and that villain is Jinx, played by Lisa Ambalavanar (The A List, Slotherhouse).
Titans stars Minka Kelly (The Roommate, The Butler), Teagan Croft (The Osiris Child, Home and Away), Brenton Thwaites (Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, Maleficent), Curran Walters (Too Close to Home, Game of Silence), Damaris Lewis (BlacKkKlansman, Pose), Mame-Anna Diop (Us, 24: Legacy), Savannah Welch (The Transcendents, Boyhood), Joshua Orpin (Highest Point, Preacher), Ryan Potter (Big Hero 6, Supah Ninjas), Conor Leslie (Klondike, Shots Fired), and Alan Ritchson (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows), with Jay Lycurgo (The Batman, The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself) with a recurring role this season.
Part one of Titans season 4 premieres on November 3 only on HBO Max.
