The Season 4 official trailer for Netflix’s Lucifer been released, introducing old friends and foes, as well as new character’s the devil can play with. One in particular, being the infamous Eve played by Inbar Lavi, who recently just finished up her starring role as Maddie in Bravo’s Imposters (2017 – 2018).
The series stars Tom Ellis as Lucifer, as he settles into a very hedonistic lifestyle in LA where he runs his own nightclub Lux. There when he isn’t making Faustian deals with unsuspecting mortals in exchange for favors.
He is joined by Detective Chloe Decker (Lauren German), angel Amenadiel (D.B Woodside), and demon Mazikeen (Lesley Ann Brandt), as they attempt to help out the LAPD as “consultants”. Actors Rachael Harris, Aimee Garcia, Tricia Helfer, Scarlett Estevez and Kevin Alejandro, also round out the supporting cast.
After renewing the series for a third season in February 2017, the Fox network announced it was dropping the series after three years. Right before the streaming giant decided to pick up Lucifer from Warner Bros. TV following a fan directed #SaveLucifer campaign on social media channels.
Although loosely based on comic book characters created by Neil Gaiman for DC’s Vertigo Imprint in partnership with Sam Kieth and Mike Dringenberg, the series’ Season 3 ended on a cliffhanger with Detective Chloe Decker eventually realizing that Lucifer is indeed the devil himself, after his devil face was revealed to her for the first time. Season 4 follows the titular character attempting to deal with the revelation, despite Eve creating new challenges for the fallen angel.
Produced by WBTV in association with Jerry Bruckheimer Television. The series is executive-produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman, Joe Henderson, Ildy Modrovich, Sheri Elwood and KristieAnne Reed.
