The Pretty Little Liars alum just landed a werewolf role in the new The CW’s series, says TVLine.
Supernatural: Tribes will be a spin-off from the original successful CW series and, as the name says, is about the monster families that exist in Chicago’s underground and run the place like a mafia. These families are being chased by a Hunter whose goal it is to free the city from any supernatural beings.
Sean Faris will play Julian, a werewolf from a wealthy clan, the Durants, who have an undying hate for another clan, the Haydens.
The 31-year-old actor joins his recently casted colleagues, Nathaniel Buzolic (The Originals) who’ll be David Hayden, a shapeshifter ,and Lucien Laviscount (Skins) who’ll be Ennis Roth, a police academy trainee.
Faris is best known for her recurring role as Office Gabriel Holbrook in Pretty Little Liars, but he has also starred in other shows like The Vampire Diaries, Leverage and Reunion.
This season’s 20th episode of Supernatural will be Supernatural: Tribes pilot, a presentation scheme that The CW already used last season with The Originals (which pilot aired as a The Vampire Diaries episode).
