Screening For ‘What If…?’ Unveils Big News for Marvel Fans

According to a press release, two new episodes have been streamed for the second season of the series What If…? by Marvel Studios. With this screening came the news that there will be a new show titled Eyes of Wakanda, as well as X-Men ’97 and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man, which were both teased.

According to Marvel, “Season 2 of What If…? continues the journey as The Watcher guides viewers through the vast multiverse, introducing brand new and familiar faces throughout the MCU. The series questions, revisits and twists classic Marvel Cinematic moments with an incredible voice cast that includes a host of stars who reprise their iconic roles.”

The episodes that were screened were titled “What If… Nebula Joined the Nova Corps?” and “What If Happy Hogan Saved Christmas?”, which are episode one and episode three. Episode one was about “a world where Ronan deposes Thanos long before the events of “Infinity War,” Nebula is recruited to join the Nova Corps. Desperate to escape her father’s shadow, she sets out to prove her detective chops.” Meanwhile, episode three follows “When Justin Hammer lays siege to Avengers Tower during the annual holiday party, there’s only one person left on site to stop him—Happy Hogan. But in setting out to prove his hero chops, Iron Man’s errand boy may end up transforming himself in more ways than one.”

Along with this insight, fans got to have extra surprises, such as the announcement of Eyes of Wakanda, an all-new animated series. The studio also leaked footage of X-Men ’97 and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man. According to this MXDWN articleX-Men ’97 is revival of the X-Men cartoon from the 90’s.
