The hit ABC drama premiered its third season Thursday night to unsurprisingly gargantuan numbers, explains Entertainment Weekly.
Scandal hit 10.5 million viewers and held a 3.6 rating of adults 18-49. That is a rise of 71 percent from the last year season two debut and a 13 percent increase from last season’s finale.
Scandal also won the first release of the Nielsen Twitter Tv Ratings with over 713,000 tweets that reached 3.7 million people, Deadline reports.
