The actor-comedian has signed a first look TV deal with FX Productions.
The previously unaired episodes of his comedy Da Ali G Show will get a debut on FXX in February 2014. The show ran for 18 episodes and the network is branding the show Ali G: Rezurection.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Nick Grad, the FX Networks president of original programming, said, “We’re thrilled to be in business with Sacha Baron Cohen. He is an amazing talent, and we look forward to him developing new series for FXP. We’re also excited to introduce Da Ali G Show and Sacha’s characters to a new audience on FXX. And we can’t wait to see how he will incorporate new, original content in the episodes.”
