The details of the project are being kept secret since its in the early stages of development. Marvel Studios will produce the show with Kyle Bradstreet (Mr.Robot) is set to write and executive produce.
Jackson made his first appearance as Nick Fury in Iron Man in 2008. He singed a nine-film contract to play the character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Since the first Iron Man, Jackson has played Fury in Spider-Man: Far From Home, Avengers: Endgame, Captain Marvel, and on ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Nick Fury is the former director of S.H.I.E.L.D and the founder of the Avengers. He is also a world-renowned spy. Fury wanted to bring together the world’s most powerful people and have them assist S.H.I.E.L.D with protecting the Earth from extraterrestrial threats. He is seen throughout the Marvel movies recruiting new Avengers and creating elaborate plans with the heroes in order to keep the world safe.
Disney+ has a plethora of Marvel shows in the works. Some of the new shows include Wandavision, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Loki, Hawkeye, Marvel Studios: What If…?, Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk, and more.
Recently, Bradstreet was a writer and executive producer on Mr. Robot. The series, which was on USA Network, won Emmy’s for Outstanding Interactive Extension of a Linear Program and Outstanding Music Composition for a Series.
