In Showtime’s Who Is America?, Sacha Baron Cohen introduces a new character to his show. This time his character was a Finnish unboxing Youtuber OMGWhizzBoyOMG (Ladislas Kekkonen), and with this character he was able to get an interview with former Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio. Arpaio is the guy that said, “I already have a concentration camp it’s called tent city,” which he is seen saying that in this video. In this episode they take about guns and then drift to various sexual acts with Donald Trump.
Here is the video:
At the start of the interview the first thing that Cohen asks (in character) is, “What Communists are trying to do to stop people having guns?” While he is asking this Cohen is unboxing a little toy. When he unboxes the toy called “D’lish Donut!” Arpaio starts to have a serious conversation with the toy about how bad guys have guns, and we have to follow the Constitution and the law. During this entire time, he is talking directly to the toy.
Cohen then goes on to say that he has “43 guns” and that he is “collecting them for the upcoming race war.” Arpaio replies to this by just shaking his head in agreement. The reason why he might have been unfazed by this is because Arpaio has been found guilty of making immigration-related arrests. He has also been accused of implementing racists immigration policies and the United States Justice Department found out that Arpaio oversaw a, “pervasive culture of discriminatory bias against Latinos.” Trump pardoned him of all crimes in 2017.
The conversation gets more sexual in the second half of the interview. During this time Cohen makes reference to a “golden shower.” Now, Arpaio might think that Cohen is talking about a literal golden shower (like Trump’s shower is made of gold); however, because there is a sexual connotation in the conversation this is not what he means. A golden show in a sexual terminology mean when during sexual activities one party member pees on another.
When Arpaio was asked, “Do you think [Trump] might have had a golden shower.” He replies with, “Wouldn’t surprise me.” Cohen goes on to ask if Arpaio can get Trump to give him a golden shower. He then goes on to list a few places where he would like one, which includes the White House. Arpaio then goes on to say that “if he sees this, and the way you’re speaking, he’s going to like you because you think like he thinks.”
Now, maybe Arpaio does not know what a golden shower is exactly. However, Cohen does use blatant sexual terms afterward: hand job and blowjob. Cohen asks him directly, if he is told by Donald Trump, “‘I want to offer you an amazing blowjob’ would you say yes?” Arpaio’s reply is, “I may have to say yes.” So, basically Arpaio admits that he would take a blowjob from Trump. Even if there is a language barrier, it is always best to clarify things when asked questions that are phrased in a certain way. Also, during the entire video Cohen does not speak Finnish at all, he only pretends to.
