Ryan Seacrest Will Host The New Fox Reality Show

Ryan Seacrest has lined up his next gig as the host of Fox’s summer reality show Knock Knock Live.

With American Idol set to end after its 15th season, Seacrest will still be a part of Fox’s reality programming with Knock Knock Live. The live series comes from Idol producer Simon Fuller’s XIX Entertainment along with dick clark productions.

Seacrest will also serve as an executive producer for the series along with Fuller, Michael Herwick, Allen Shapiro, Mike Mahan, Mark Bracco, Stijn Bakkers, and Nicolle Yaron according to The Hollywood Reporter

Knock Knock Live will travel cross-country and knock on people’s doors with the opportunity to turn their dreams into reality. The show will grant unsuspecting people their wishes that include wining cash prizes and meeting their favorite celebrities. The press release describes a scenario where if a contestant can name kids that live on their block they could win thousands or if they can beat a professional basketball player in a game of H-O-R-S-E they could win courtside tickets.

While the show will travel across the country, Seacrest will host from a studio in Los Angeles. The series is set to premiere July 21. The show is currently looking for nominations for contestants at knockknocklive.com.
