Ryan Murphy hints at the Rubber Man’s return in ‘American Horror Story’ Season 10

On Sunday, American Horror Story show runner Ryan Murphy posted a picture hinting at the return of a familiar villain in the AHS Universe: the Rubber Man. The infamous character may be back for Season 10 after numerous apparitions throughout the series. First introduced in Murder House Season 1, the BDSM costume reappeared in Apocalypse Season 8.

According to TVGuide, Macaulay Culkin will be joining the cast along with Sarah Paulson (Ocean’s 8), Kathy Bates (Titanic), Leslie Grossman (Popular), Billie Lourd (Booksmart), Adina Porter (Miss Virginia), Lily Rabe (Fractured), Angelica Ross (Pose), Finn Wittrock (Judy) and Evan Peters (Dark Phoenix) who stayed out of Season 9 1984. The FX series only offered few cryptic clues on its 10th season theme and Murphy himself shared an official poster on Instagram with the eerie caption “Things are beginning to wash up on shore…” This time then, it might be on the sea that we’re getting scared.

Previously worn by actors Dylan McDermott (The Practice), Zachary Quinto (Star Trek), Cody Fern (House of Cards) and Peters, the mystery is to know who is going to wear it this time, and for what purpose…
