Ryan Murphy Announces Model Kaia Gerber is Joining Season 10 Cast of ‘American Horror Story’

Ryan Murphy (The Prom, Ratched) continues to shed light on the darkness surrounding the highly anticipated and mysterious season ten of American Horror Story. He announced on Tuesday that model Kaia Gerber will be joining the cast of the upcoming season, as reported by Deadline

Very excited to announce that Kaia Gerber is joining the American Horror Story family,” Murphy wrote on Instagram Tuesday night, which he accompanied with a photo of Gerber. See Murphy’s full post below:

Gerber is the daughter of eighties and nineties supermodel Cindy Crawford. She has since become a household name in the fashion industry for the past several years, beginning to walk the runway for major fashion designers at age sixteen. American Horror Story marks her second venture into the world of acting, the first being Sister Cities in 2016.

The major casting announcement is just one of several revelations Murphy has made within the past several days regarding the upcoming season. On March 20, he finally revealed that the theme for season ten would be American Horror Story: Double Feature in teaser video on Instagram. The video then elaborated on the meaning of Double Feature: “Two horrifying stories….one season. One by the sea…One by the sand…”

As fans scramble for clues as to what the next season could possibly be about, unveiling the theme has been the biggest reveal yet. Taking place in Provincetown, Massachusetts by the shore, Murphy also shared the first photo of Macaulay Culkin (Home Alone) and Leslie Grossman (Shrill) on set last week, as they posed in fur coats on the beach. This season marks Culkin’s American Horror Story debut.

Along with Gerber and Culkin, the cast is filled to the brim with American Horror Story alum, featuring Sara Paulson (Ratched), Evan Peters (Pose), Lily Rabe (Tell Me Your Secrets), Finn Wittrock (Ratched), Kathy Bates (Richard Jewel), Billie Lourd (Scream Queens), Angelica Ross (Pose), and Adina Porter (True Blood).
