Bismarck, North Dakota received a special treat when Ron Burgundy of Anchorman 2 read them the news.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Will Ferrell suited up as Ron Burgundy and joined the KXMB’s Saturday night newscast. Ferrell is currently promoting the sequel, Anchorman 2. Ferrell read stories and chatted up the news team. He kept it comical as he popped into anchor Amber Schatz’ screen while she read a story. Following the sports segment he noted, “I’ve never seen fighting in a hockey match before. That was fascinating.”
Ferrell didn’t end the newscast with Burgundy’s famous catchphrase “Stay Classy” instead saying: “What? Am I supposed to read that?”
Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues premieres on December 18.
