Robbie Amell who starred in CW’s The Tomorrow People and The Flash and Lauren Ambrose who starred in Six Feet Under will now join the cast of the return of The X-Files (via Deadline).
While both stars are not going to be reoccurring throughout the six episode first series, they will each make a guest appearance on the fourth episode of the season. Robbie Amell will play Agent Miller, while Lauren Ambrose will play Agent Einstein (via The Hollywood Reporter).
Other guest stars have been recently added to the series, which we reported on. Recent casting additions include Silicon Valley‘s Kumail Nanjiani. He will guest star on the third episode of the season which is entitled “Mulder and Scully Meet the Were-Monster”. Nanjiani will play an animal control officer that helps Mulder and Scully.
The first teaser of the The X-Files has recently been released which we reported on, but the resurrection of the series does not come until January 24, 2016.
