The groundbreaking new series from ABC, Rising Star, will hold nationwide auditions on Saturday, March 29.
The series will audition solo vocalist, duos and vocal groups of up to five members. The auditions are in person, online or as a nomination of a friend/family member. Rising Star is executive produced by Ken Warwick (American Idol) and Nicolle Yaron (The Voice).
Rising Star reinvented how the traditional singing competitions are decided. The series puts the final say in the hands of the viewers in real time. Viewers will vote during the performances to determine if the contestant will move on in the competition. Contestants can also see how voting is going during their performance as well.
