

In the works at Fox, Paul Reiser (Fatherhood, Mad About You) and his son are teaming up to co-create a multi-camera comedy, according to Deadline. The creator of The Goldbergs, Adam F. Goldberg (Dungeons & Dragons: A Documentary, The Goldbergs), will partner with Reiser. The series will follow Reiser’s dysfunctional family as his 20-something son is forced to work alongside him at their New Jersey business.
According to Deadline, Reiser, Leon Reiser (Dealing With Idiots, The Paul Reiser Show), and Goldberg are all co-writing the script together. The show will be executive produced by Goldberg, Brian Volk-Weiss (Tom Papa: Home Free, Small Town Strong), Michael Pelmound (City of Likes, Coming to the Stage), and Matt Ochacher (Small Town Strong, Mad About You), while Leon Reiser will serve as producer.
Paul Reiser stated to Deadline, “So excited to be creating this show with the good people at Fox and my two great partners in crime — Adam F. Goldberg and Leon Reiser. This feels like it’s on its way to be something really special.”
According to Deadline, Fox has a few other multi-camera series that are in development. Andrea Savage (War of the Worlds, Chosen Family) will star in Perf, which she created and will serve as executive producer. And comedian Earthquake (Bed-Ridden, Unfrosted) is set to star in a series based on his life.
Paul Reiser is most known for his role as Paul Buchman from Mad About You, which ran for seven seasons on NBC. According to Deadline, Reiser earned an Emmy nomination for Netflix’s The Kominsky Method. Reiser also has many film credits, which include Beverly Hills Cop and The Problem With People. Reiser is repped by Gersh, The Nacelle Company, and Del Shaw Moonves.
As stated earlier, Goldberg was the creator, executive producer, and showrunner of the single-camera sitcom, The Goldbergs. This show was a comedy based on Goldberg’s autobiography, airing on ABC for 10 seasons. Goldberg is repped by WME, Manager Ken Freeman, and attorney Bruce Gellman. Leon Reiser is repped by Del Shaw Moonves.
