‘Reno 911!’ Deputies Conduct Daily Zoom Briefings and Announce its New Season Premiere Date

If you are working remotely and have been stuck in an awkward zoom briefing with people who don’t know how to use a camera, let us tell you that you haven’t seen everything. On the occasion of the seventh season of Reno 911! coming on Quibi, the cast will be releasing Zoom briefings on YouTube for the next three days to comply with social distancing policies…and it is not going to go as planned!

Acting on character, Deputy Travis Junior (Robert Ben Garant), Lieutenant Dangle (Thomas Lennon), Deputy Trudy Wiegel (Kerri Kenney-Silver) and the rest of the Reno County Sheriff’s Department will attempt to connect through shaky online communication.

Reno 911! ran on Comedy Central between 2003 and 2009 and the six-seasons show was mockumentary series parodying of Northern Nevada law enforcement. Created by Garant, Lennon and Kenney-Silver, the series even spawned a movie in 2007 where the deputies deal with terrorists taking police officers hostage in Miami Beach hotel.

Reno 911! Season 7 premiere date is yet to be known.
