The popular Amazon Prime series, Reacher has started production on Season three. The upcoming season follows the perspective of the titled character played by Alan Richardson (Fast X), as he goes undercover and combats enemy forces. The acclaimed series first made its televised debut back on February 4, 2022.
According to Hollywood Reporter, among the executive producers for season three are Nick Santora(Prison Break), Child, Ritchson, Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, Mick Betancourt(The Purge), and Skydance’s David Ellison (Gemini Man), Dana Goldberg (The Tomorrow War), and Matt Thunell (Jack Ryan). The multiple studios that aid in the production of the show, consist of Skydance Studios(Top Gun: Maverick), Amazon MGM Studios(From), and Paramount Television Studios(The Tomorrow War).
According to Hollywood Reporter, along with Alan’s Reacher, will feature the return of his former military colleague, Frances Neagley played by Maria Stern(Swamp Thing). Fans are sure to get excited about how these two will reunite, and they will combat. The third season is sure to continue from the previous events, where Jack and his teams completed the missions, say their goodbyes, and go their separate ways.
The approaching season will be based on the seventh book in Lee Child’s novel series, Persuader. According to Hollywood Reporter, the second season premiere received over 1.7 billion minutes of views in December. The first appearance of Frances in the series was back in season one’s fourth episode titled”In A Tree“. The series has received a positive view rating of 95% on Rotten Tomatoes.
