The series, which revealed a major death on Sunday, added 1.7 million total viewers with the replay of the episode later on Sunday, bringing the ratings to a number of 8 million viewers, as noted by Deadline.
The last episode of Game of Thrones gained a record-breaking number of 6.6 million viewers and it was the most watched event since The Sopranos series finale in 2007 (which drew 11.9 million viewers).
