Raphael Sbarge, Seamus Dever & Ryan McPartlin Are Added To ‘Bosch: Start Of Watch’

Deadline writes that Bosch: Start Of Watch has 6 new cast members. The cast members include Raphael Sbarge (Task, The Guardian), Seamus Dever (Castle, Monkey Love), Kenneth Miller (Presumed Innocent, Her Deadly Sugar Daddy), Marco Rodriguez (Nightcrawler, The Rookie), Rafi Gavron (A Star Is Born, Snitch) and Ryan McPartlin (Chuck, The Holiday Fix Up).

According to Deadline, the show is based on the novel by Michael Connelly’s (The Black Echo, The Poet) bestselling books of the same name. There even is a prequel that starts Bosch’s story in 1991 that is in Los Angeles as he is a rookie cop. The series will deal with the corrupt legal system as well as gangs, routine calls, and criminals. Bosch’s loyalty is on the line as he is tested again and again.

Dever will play Officer Hastings, a blunt, doesn’t take anything from anyone, officer.

Miller will play Fremlin, a tough cop who is a member of Cory’s crew who cleans his nose and gets the job done — no questions asked, as long as he gets paid.

McPartlin will play Detective Mike Garner, a brash CRASH detective, the only one who can stop Bosch for overstepping.

Sbarge will play Sergeant “Sunshine” Finn, an unfeeling sergeant whose dark, details spark fear in new cops.

Rodriguez will play Max Vargas, a Veteran cop, ex-con who is freed from prison ripples to disrupt his son Corey’s life.

Gavron will play Restrepo, Cory’s trusted right hand – quick as a whip, loyal, and never afraid to question things when something doesn’t add up.

Deadline announces that the show was produced by Fabel Entertainment, Bosch: Start of Watch is co-created and produced by the Bosch: Legacy co-developer/executive producer Tom Bernardo (Bosch, The Lincoln Lawyer), as well as Legacy producer Brian Anthony (Station 19, Kung Fu) with Bernardo serving as showrunner. Connelly, Henrik Bastin (Code 100, American Odyssey), Jamie Boscardin (Heat, The Pelican Brief), Martin and Jasmine Russ also serve as producers. Theresa Snider (Ballard) co-produces for Hieronymus Pictures. Mark Douglas (The Disciplined Producer, What Is The Trading Zone) co-produces. Seth Yanklewitz (The Hangover, New Girl) is the casting director.
