‘Rake’ is Moving from FOX to U.K.’s Universal Channel

U.K.’s Universal Channel has signed a contract to host the premiere of Rake.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the legal drama Rake, starring Greg Kinnear, was set to premiere in the U.S. at Fox. Now the show is the latest acquisition made by Universal Channel.

Rake is about a lawyer who is fighting with everyone around him, including his wife, the judges, the bookie and the IRS. James Newton, the director of Universal Channel said that Rake is “one of the most talked-about series of this year’s L.A. Screenings.”
