As the second season of Severance on Apple TV+ nears its conclusion, fans can look forward to an in-depth discussion rather than just lingering questions. Deadline reports that Quinta Brunson (Abbott Elementary) will be leading a Q&A session focused on the hit psychological drama’s second season.
This special event, featuring a guild-wide screening, is set to take place on March 22 at the DGA Theater in Los Angeles. While Brunson isn’t directly involved in the series, she shares a connection with lead actor Adam Scott, having appeared alongside him in Starz’s Party Down revival in 2023.
Severance follows Mark Scout, played by Adam Scott (Parks and Recreation), an employee at the fictional Lumon Industries who undergoes a radical “severance” procedure that divides his work and personal memories into separate existences.
This season also includes performances from John Turturro (Do the Right Thing), Christopher Walken (The Outlaws), Sydney Cole Alexander (Limitless), Karen Aldridge (Boss), Merritt Wever (Tiny Beautiful Things), Claudia Robinson (Wide Sargasso Sea), Alia Shawkat (Arrested Development), Stefano Carannante (Blue Bloods), Bob Babalan (Gosford Park), John Noble (Star Trek: Prodigy), and Robby Benson (Friends). Returning after a three-year break, Severance has proven to be a massive success for Apple TV+. According to Deadline, The company reported that its second season debuted as the most-watched series on the platform from January 17 to February 17. It also ranked fourth on Nielsen’s charts for the week of January 13, racking up 589 million minutes viewed in the U.S.—with 28% of that audience tuning in for the Season 2 premiere alone.
The panel will showcase key figures from the show, including director and executive producer Ben Stiller (In the Dark), creator Dan Erickson (Chambers). Cast members Adam Scott, Britt Lower (High Maintenance), Tramell Tillman (Elementary), Zach Cherry (Duncanville), Jen Tullock (Perry Mason), Michael Chernus (Patriot), Dichen Lachman (Jurassic World: Chaos Theory), Patricia Arquette (Medium), Sarah Bock (Bruiser), Ólafur Darri Ólafsson (Somebody Somewhere), and Gwendoline Christie (Game of Thrones) will be present at the panel. The much-anticipated second season finale arrives on March 21.
