The trailer for Reno 911! season 7, part 2 is now available, according to Screen Rant. The former Comedy Central series returned Quibi this year after ending ten years ago.
All the favorite characters will be returning along with some special guests. Including the pop culture parody icon, Alfred “Weird Al” Yankovic. The trailer features new hi-jinx that the Reno cops get themselves into. Including getting stoned when a dispensary catches on fire, enduring taser training, and trying to breakup a standoff between two moms at a little league game.
The Comedy Central favorite has tried to be rebooted for some time. Netflix made a bid to continue the series but the plans fell through due to negotiation disputes and key cast members being attached to other projects at the time. Quibi, a new short-form streaming service, came to the rescue with getting all the original showrunners to be a part of the project. They were able to revive the mockumentary ten years after the last episode aired.
Part two of season 7 comes after the rebooted Quibi series received two Emmy nominations. The new season will be available to watch on August 24th.
