The upcoming season of the Netflix series, Emily in Paris, has finished its production and will be released on December 24th, 2026. According to Deadline, the sixth season will be the final season.
First debuting in October 2020, the series goes from its time in Paris to other places in Europe, still capturing fashion marketing through the company. Season four arrived in August 2024 in two parts, ending its adventures in the “City of Lights” while Season five arrived in December 2025 in Rome, Italy. Season six renews its series back in January 2026 with its new location in Greece.
The same cast returns: Lily Collins (Love, Rosie), Lucas Bravo (Ticket to Paradise, The Seduction), Ashley Park (Beef,Only Murders in the Building), Lucien Laviscount (Scream Queens, Snatch), Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu (Call My Agent!), Bruno Gouery (Doc Martin), Thalia Besson (When I’m Ready), Paul Forman (Stags), William Abadie (Hit Point, And Just Like That…), Minnie Driver (Speechless, Good Will Hunting), and Samuel Arnold (Life After Killing).
Picking up from the fifth season, Emily (Collins) is in Rome, fully happy with her new job as head of the Agence Grateau office and her boyfriend, Marcello Muratori, who is played by Eugenio Francheschini (Back Home, Medici). However, she finds herself not wanting to be with him in Rome anymore after thoughts of proposal were placed into their relationship. Mindy (Park) and Nico (Forman) got engaged instead, bringing more trouble to her romantic interest with him and Alfie (Laviscount). The Rome branch of the company closes in the last season and Emily returns to Paris.
The show moves to Greece as Emily, receives a letter from Gabriel (Bravo) from the Mediterranean island where he is at from a job opportunity.
Darren Star (Younger, Sex and the City) not only is the creator of the series, but also the writer, showrunner, and executive producer of the series. The executive producers include Tony Hernandez (Russian Doll), Lilly Burns (Search Party,Russian Doll), Andrew Fleming (Uncoupled), Stephen Brown (The Fugitive, A Perfect Murder), Alison Brown (Younger), Robin Schiff (Almost Perfect), Grant Sloss (Younger, Vicious Mannies), and Joe Murphy (Younger, Bored, Game?).
