Priscilla Presley Hired to Voice Act in New Show ‘Agent Elvis’

 According to The Hollywood Reporter, Priscilla Presley (The Naked Gun, Dallas, Dancing with the Stars), the wife of legendary singer-songwriter Elvis Presley, (Viva Las Vegas, Love me Tender, Blue Hawaii) is set to join the cast of the new show AgentElvis. Presley will play herself in the animated series while also obtaining a creator credit. The show follows an animated Elvis as a secret government agent going on high octane missions all while holding his title as the King of Rock & Roll. The series was created by Presley and musician John Eddie (The Cold Hard Truth, Happily Never After, Agent Elvis).

This is Eddie and Presley’s first time creating a show together or at all, but fans have faith that it will be a successful series, especially with legendary actors under their belt. Matthew McConaughey (The Wolf of Wall Street, The Lincoln Lawyer,Interstellar) will be playing the lead role of Agent Elvis in the adult action exclusive and will be joined by side characters played by renowned voice actors like Tom Kenny (SpongeBob SquarePants, Adventure Time, Ant-Man), Kaitlin Olson (It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, Finding Dory, Bob’s Burgers), Johnny Knoxville (Jackass, Dukes of Hazzard, Men in Black), Niecy Nash (Dahmer, The Masked Singer, Downsizing), and Don Cheadle (Avengers: Endgame, Boogie Nights, Ocean’s Twelve).

The show was kickstarted and approved in August of 2019 and is set to premiere in a few weeks on March 17th, 2023 exclusively on Netflix. While the main plot will consist of Elvis and his fellow agents to fight dark forces threatening the land of the free and home of the brave, many other guest stars have signed on to play as characters contributing to the sub-plot. Voices include Ed Helms (The Office, The Hangover, Cedar Rapids), Christina Hendricks (Mad Men, Bad Santa 2, Firefly), Chris Elliot (Schitt’s Creek, Scary Movie 2, Groundhog Day), and many more.

Agent Elvis will be created by Sony Pictures Animation, the studio behind Into the Spider-Verse, and will be produced by Titmouse and Authentic Brands Group with Mike Arnold (Archer, Epic Fall, Homeschooled) as showrunner and head writer.
