According to an Amazon MGM Press Release, Prime Video has launched the official trailer for Secret Level, an adult-animated anthology series. From Amazon MGM Studios and Blur Studio, the highly-anticipated series focuses on original stories taking place in the world of selected but highly loved video games. Secret Level will premiere December 10 and drop the other episodes through December 17 only on Prime Video.
The trailer shows sequences of each individual episode ranging from action to emotional scenes. The video games episodes are based on: Armored Core, Concord, Crossfire, Dungeons & Dragons, Exodus, Honor of Kings, Megaman, New World: Aeternum, Pac-Man, Playstation, The Outer Worlds 2, Unreal Tournament and Warhammer. The logline for Secret Level as noted by the press release is as follows: “Secret Level is a new adult-animated anthology series featuring original stories set within the worlds of some of the world’s most beloved video games. From the creative minds behind LOVE, DEATH + ROBOTS, each of the episodes is a celebration of games and gamers.”
The cast of Secret Level includes Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje (Farming, Pompeii), Ariana Greenblatt (Stuck in the middle, Barbie), Arnold Schwarzenegger (Twins, Kindergarten Cops), Claudia Doumit (The Boys, Dylan & Zoe), Clive Standen (Taken, Vikings), Emily Swallow (The Mandalorian, Supernatural), Gabriel Luna (Wicked City, Hala), Heaven Hart (Look at That Woman, Kevin Hart: Zero F**ks), Keanu Reeves (John Wick, The Matrix), Kevin Hart (Jumanji, Ride Along), Laura Bailey (The Legend of Vox Machine, Critical Role), Merle Dandridge (Truth Be Told, The Last Of Us), Michael Beach (The Perfect Couple, The Rookie), Patrick Schwarzenegger (Moxie, Gen V), Ricky Whittle (The 100, Nappily Ever After) and Temuera Morrison (Aquaman, Moana).
