Prime Video’s ‘Invincible’ “Knocks Viewers’ Socks Off” After Its Midseason Finale

The animated Prime Video series Invincible released its last episode before its midseason hiatus, and fans everywhere were left speechless. The episode was the fourth installment in the second season and was entitled “It’s Been a While,” according to Comicbook. Fans are going wild for what occurred in the episode and over their unanswered questions until the series returns.

Critics and fans alike who have read the comics have been excited and eager about this particular episode. It is one “that would knock viewers’ socks off,” via Comicbook. 

Allegedly, not many people were aware that the series would be split up into two parts, and of course, those people said people weren’t pleased with the news. The Invincible comic series readers are dropping hints here and there, which could be a look into the show’s future.

Animators for Invincible amazed viewers with the imagery for “It’s Been a While.” 

Oscar-winner J.K. Simmons (Spider-Man, Whiplash), who portrays Omni-Man in the series, has made fans feel that he isn’t taking this role like any other and that some awards organizations need to recognize his work. 

The title card sequence reveals Invincible’s episode “It’s Been a While” to be the best of the season so far!

Fans of the series were left on the edge of their seats after last night’s episode, with feelings of shock, awe, pain and angst at the forefront. Unfortunately, fans will have to wait until 2024 for the next episode.

Invincible follows the life of 17-year-old Mark Grayson, aka Invincible, played by Steven Yeun (Beef, Minari), and his life as the son of the world’s most powerful superhero, Omni-Man (played by Simmons). As Mark’s powers develop, he finds that everything may not be what they seem with his father’s legacy and his heroic past.
