Prime Video Reveals Trailer for New YA Series ‘Motorheads’

Prime Video has just revealed the trailer for its new original young adult action-dramaMotorheads, according to a press release. The 10-episode series is set to premiere exclusively on Prime Video on May 20, 2025, with all 10 episodes available to stream in more than 240 countries worldwide.

Motorheads follows the story of a group of outcasts who bond over their shared love of motor racing in a declining Rust Belt town looking for hope. The high-octane series deals with first love, heartbreak, and the thrill of driving your first car, all while navigating the complicated politics of high school life.

The ensemble cast includes Ryan Phillippe (Gosford Park, Cruel Intentions) as Logan Maddox, Nathalie Kelly (The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, The Vampire Diaries) as Samantha Torres, Melissa Collazo (One Of Us Is Lying, Freaky) as Caitlyn Torres, Drake Rodger (The Winchesters, The In Between) as Ray Young, Uriah Shelton (The Glades, Enter the Warriors Gate) as Curtis Young, Michael Cimino (Love, Victor, Never Have I Ever) as Zac Torres, Nicolas Cantu (The Walking Dead: World Beyond, The Unicorn) as Marcel, Mia Healy (The Wilds, Shark) as Alicia Whitaker, Josh Macqueen (Black Snow, Significant Others) as Haris Bowers, Matt Lanter (Jupiter’s Legacy, Timeless) as Darren Bowers, Johnna Dis-Watson (Wednesday, A Pinch of Portugal) as Kiara, and Audrey Gerthoffer (Party of Five, The Sex Lives of College Girls) as Brooke.

The Amazon MGM Studios series is written and executive-produced by showrunner John A. Norris (All American, One Tree Hill), and the pilot episode was directed by executive producer Neil Burger (Divergent, The Illusionist).  Jason Seagraves (American Made, Hacksaw Ridge), Ruben Fleischer  (Zombieland, Venom), Keegan Rosenberger (The Shadow Girls, Verdict), and Dana Brunetti (The Social Network, Captain Phillips) are on as executive producers. Ryan Zaragoza serves as producing director and co-executive producer (All American, Animal Kingdom).
