According to Deadline, Prime Video has released the official trailer for the season three of the sci-fi comedy Upload. The series stars Robbie Amell (The Tomorrow People, The Witcher) as Nathan Brown and Andy Allo (Chicago Fire, Pitch Perfect 3) as Nora Antony. Check out the trailer below.
Upload follows Nathan and Nora in a technologically advanced future with AI assistance, 3D printers, self-driving vehicles, and holographic phones. In this universe, instead of dying, those who can afford it are “uploaded” to a virtual reality afterlife where they can enjoy the comforts of a world-class resort.
Season three will follow Nora and newly-downloaded Nathan dealing with their relationship and attempting to stop a mysterious conspiracy that could ruin millions of people’s lives.
Along with Amell and Allo, Upload features Allegra Edwards (Friends from College, Briarpatch) as Ingrid Kannerman, Kevin Bigley (Sirens, The Wretched) as Luke, Zainab Johnson (History of Swear Words, Last COmic Standing) as Aleesha, Josh Banday (Not Dead Yet, Ctrl Alt Delete) as Ivan, and Andrea Rosen (Invisible City, Take Me to Your Mother) as Lucy.
The cast also includes Chris Williams (The Great Indoors, Friday After Next) as Dave Antony, Paulo Costanzo (A Beginner’s Guide to Endings, Royal Pains) as Matteo, Jessica Tuck (Judging Amy, One Life to Live) as Viv, William B. Davis (The X-Files, The Tall Man) as David Choak, Mackenzie Cardwell (Words and Pictures, Death of a Cheerleader) as Tinsley, Elizabeth Bowen (Resident Alien, Angry Angel) as Fran Booth, Yvetta Fischer (Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2) as Batia, and Jordan Johnson-Hinds (Suits, Nurses) as Jamie.
Upload was created by Greg Daniels (Parks and Recreation, The Office). Daniels swerves as showrunner and executive produces along with Jeffrey Blitz (Rocket Science, The Office) and Howard Klein (The Office, Jessica Jones).
Season three of Upload premieres on Prime Video on October 20.
