

According to Prime Video, The Summer I Turned Pretty‘s third and final season will premiere on July 16. The season will have 11 episodes total, premiering exclusively on Prime Video across 240 countries and territories around the world.
The teaser trailer showcases both Lola Tung (I Know What You Did Last Summer) as Isabel “Belly” Conklin and Gavin Casalegano (Walker) as Jeremiah Fisher. Two Taylor Swift songs are featured in the trailer, “Daylight” from her “Lover” album and “Red (Taylor’s Version)” from her “Red (Taylor’s Version)” album. We see a montage of Isabel and Jeremiah spending time together in joyful and romantic matters, until the trailer switches the song and reveals Isabel’s previous romantic phase in Conrad Fisher.
Official logline for the series: It’s the end of her junior year of college, and Belly’s looking forward to another summer in Cousins with her soulmate, Jeremiah. Her future seems set, until some core-shaking events bring her first love Conrad back into her life. According to Prime Video, The Summer I Turned Pretty’s third season is led by showrunners Jenny Han, who created the best-selling book series that the show is based on, and Sarah Kucserka, who was also the showrunner for the romantic comedy series High Fidelity. Han and Kucserka will also serve as executive producers, along with Hope Hartman (Book Club), Paul Lee (Mare of Easttown), and Mads Hansen (End of Watch) for wiip.
Prime Video also states that Jenny Han is a New York Times best-selling author and has had her books published in more than 30 languages. She created two new television series based on her To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and The Summer I Turned Pretty book series; Prime Video’s The Summer I Turned Pretty and the Netflix spinoff XO, Kitty.
