Prime Video’s video game adaptation series Fallout has released a new trailer for its second season. The trailer shines light on familiar faces and introduces us to new characters, along with a story as to what we are to expect as we return to the wasteland.
The trailer shows the beloved trio that we all know and love from the first season of Fallout. We have Lucy MacLean played by Ella Purnell (Fallout, Arcane), Maximus played by Aaron Moten (Fallout, Father Stu), and The Ghoul played by Walter Goggins (Fallout, Invincible).
According to Variety, the new season will pick up in the aftermath of season one’s epic finale and take the audience on a journey through the wasteland of the Mojave to the post-apocalyptic city of New Vegas. Speaking of New Vegas, the trailer highlights some moments that could be taken from the video game Fallout New Vegas.
One of the newest characters that we will see in the second season will be a character by the name of Robert House. In the video game Robert House was a pivotal character in the video game who would try and persuade the character into joining his cause to take over New Vegas. According to Variety, the person playing Robert House is Justin Theroux (Poker Face, Fallout), his character is said to be a de facto ruler of the fictional city called New Vegas. In the first season we saw Robert House in the board meeting at the season finale of Fallout.
According to Deadline, Fallout is said to be produced by Kilter Films, with executive producers Johnathan Nolan (Westworld, Fallout), Lisa Joy (Westworld, Fallout), along with Todd Howard (Fallout, Starfield) who worked with Bethesda the same game studio that is responsible for the beloved game series under the same name as the TV show.
The second season is set to stream on December 17, 2025.
