Prime Video has released the official trailer for the highly anticipated second season of Hazbin Hotel, the hit adult animated musical from creator Vivienne Medrano (Helluva Boss, Zoophobia). According to Prime Video, the new trailer teases a fresh wave of chaos in the underworld, alongside the debut of the season’s first single, “Hazbin Guarantee (Trust Us).” The track is available now, while the complete Hazbin Hotel: Season Two (Original Soundtrack) is available for pre-order.
The upcoming season will officially debut on October 29, with Prime Video confirming that the eight-episode run will drop two episodes weekly through November 19. Produced by A24 and FOX Entertainment Studios’ Emmy-winning Bento Box Entertainment, the series continues to blend irreverent humor, original music, and sharp storytelling that has built a loyal global fan base.
Prime Video also stated that Atlantic Records will collaborate with the show once more to release a deluxe soundtrack with several vinyl, CD, and cassette options. Sam Haft and Andrew Underberg wrote and produced the songs for the new album, which will be performed by an ensemble cast that includes Stephanie Beatriz (Encanto, Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Darren Criss (Glee, American Crime Story), Keith David, Kimiko Glenn, and Alex Newell.
Following Charlie’s victory over Heaven’s army, the next season finds the hotel growing but recruiting residents with mysterious intents. A evil overlord trio known as The Vees emerges to exploit the discontent, resulting in a spectacular conflict with both Hell and Heaven. As animosity increases, Charlie is under increasing pressure to safeguard her image of redemption while maintaining control over her hotel.
Hazbin Hotel premiered as a YouTube pilot in 2019, quickly gaining over 117 million views before being picked up by A24. Medrano returns as executive producer and director for Season Two, along with Dana Tafoya-Cameron and Brett Coker.
Season two of Hazbin Hotel will be available exclusively on Prime Video in over 240 countries and territories beginning October 29.
