Prime Video has dropped the trailer for the second season of House of David. We will continue to see David’s journey as king and hopefully see his descendants as well.
For those who don’t know, House of David tells a story about a shepherd named David who would become king after Saul. After Saul was pronounced king by the prophet Samuel, Saul slowly strays away from God’s command. The series shows many battles that are waged and even shows the biblical battle involving David and Goliath. Thoughout the series we see Saul’s slow decent into anger and madness when he hears that God is looking elsewhere for a new king of Israel because Saul didn’t follow God’s instructions and let his hubris get the better of him. The second season will show David’s transition from shepherd to warrior and how he will rise to throne after his victory over Goliath. We will see Saul grasp at whatever little power he has left as David continues to soar in popularity. Tensions will be at an all time high when it comes to this new season.

The second season is set to release on March 27, 2026. In the meantime you can watch the first season on Prime Video to try and catch up in time for the new season.
