According to an official press release from Prime Video, One Night In Idaho: The College Murders will debut all four episodes on July 11th, exclusively on their streaming platform. Prime Video has released first look images and an official trailer. Find these below.

Per the official press release, the series will cover a real-life slasher story that unfolded in Moscow, Idaho, on November 13th, 2022. Four University of Idaho students were found stabbed to death, leaving the community and the world to become amateur detectives, pointing the finger at those closest to the victims. The story was captivating, and the community was in shock as the killer was still on the loose. As the investigation deepened, a suspect was found, tracked down, and apprehended. The trial is set to begin this August, and the eyes of the world are still fixated on this case. What was the motive? Why were these kids targeted?
The press release claims the story will only be told by those involved in and affected by the crime. They also plan to cover the continued impact that the loss of these loved ones has had on their families and the community. There will be exclusive interviews with Stacey and Jim Chapin, the parents of Ethan Chapin. There will also be interviews with Karen and Scott Laramie, who are the parents of Madison Mogen.
The press release confirms that the series is set to be directed by Liz Garbus (What Happened, Miss Simone?, Girlhood) and Mathew Galkin (Boomtown, Murder in Big Horn). It will also be produced by Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television, Story Syndicate, James Patterson Entertainment, and Fairhaven.
The suspect in the murders, revealed by Fox News, has been named as Bryan Kohberger. Kohberger’s attorney has argued that the Dateline episode and a book, already released on the issue, are posing a threat to her client’s right to a fair trial. This new, deeper dive documentary may lend her claim even more credibility.
