According to Prime Video, the hit animated show The Legend of Vox Machina will return for a fourth season. Prime Video’s announcement came just before the premiere of the season three finale, ensuring that fans would have a new season to look forward to.
The Legend of Vox Machina follows a group of misfits turned heroes after their home of Exandria is threatened by evil. Prime Video explains that “in season three, the Chroma Conclave’s path of destruction spreads like wildfire while the Cinder King hunts down Vox Machina. Our lovable band of misfits must rise above inner (and outer) demons to try and save their loved ones, Tal’Dorei, and all of Exandria,” promising viewers an action-packed finale.
The series is produced by Titmouse and Critical Role/Metapigeon Studios, with an incredible 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes via Prime Video. The head of animation at Amazon MGM Studios, Melissa Wolfe (The Fairly OddParents, Random! Cartoons), commented on the show’s success, saying, “The fantastic team at Critical Role and Titmouse continues to deliver captivating seasons of The Legend of Vox Machina and we are excited for more to come. Our global Prime Video audience has embraced this series from the beginning and the fans, along with us, remain passionate about the characters and stories,” per Prime Video.
Executive producer Sam Riegel (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, DuckTales) joined in on the excitement for the new season, commenting, “We are beyond thrilled – and grateful – to continue the epic and wild adventures of Vex, Vax, Keyleth, Percy, Pike, Grog and everyone’s favorite character – Scanlan. With each season, this show levels up, and we already have big plans to level up both our heroes and villains in Season Four” via Prime Video.
According to Prime Video, returning voice actors are the talented Riegel, Taliesin Jaffe (Critical Role, Hellsing), Laura Bailey (The Last of Us: Part II, The World of Warcraft: The War Within), Liam O’Brien (Asura’s Wrath, Critical Role), Ashley Johnson (The Last of Us, The Last of Us Part II), Marisha Ray (8.13, Daggerheart), Travis Willingham (Avengers Assemble, American Dad!) and Matthew Mercer (ThunderCats, Fallout 4).
