‘Prime Target’: New Apple TV+ Thriller Series Sets January Premiere Date

Deadline reports that the premiere date for Prime Target, the new project produced for Apple TV+, has been set. The conspiracy thriller series will launch on January 22, 2025, with the first two episodes, followed by one episode weekly, every Wednesday through March 5.

The series stars Leo Woodall (One Day) as Edward Brooks, a brilliant young math postgraduate on the verge of a major breakthrough. If he succeeds in finding a pattern in his work, he will hold the key to every computer in the world. Alas, he begins to realize that an unseen enemy is trying to destroy his idea before it’s even born. This throws him into the orbit of Taylah Sanders, a female NSA agent portrayed by Quintessa Swindell (Trinkets), who’s tasked with watching and reporting on mathematicians’ behavior. Together, they begin to unravel the troubling conspiracy that Edward is at the heart of.

The cast includes Stephen Rea (The English), David Morrissey (The Walking Dead), Martha Plimpton (The Regime), Sidse Babett Knudsen (Agent), Jason Flemyng (The Famous Five), Harry Lloyd (Halo), Ali Suliman (Juda), Fra Fee (Hawkeye) and Joseph Mydell (The Castaways).

Prime Target is a co-production between New Regency and Scott Free Productions. Zucker (The Good Fight), Ed Rubin (One Lane Bridge), Beth Pattinson (Brooklyn), Emma Broughton (The Little Drummer Girl), Yariv Milchan (The Edge of Sleep), Arnon Milchan (Mr. & Mrs. Smith) and Michael Schaefer (Swarm).
