The Late Show with David Letterman will host President Jimmy Carter on Monday, March 24.
The Former President will promote his new book, A Call to Action: Women, Religion, Violence and Power, which will release the following day after his Late Show appearance. The book discusses President Carter’s call to action on issues of discrimination and violence against women in the world. He brings in his own experiences and testimony from women across all regions and major religions. It will put into focus the issue of equal rights for women everywhere.
This is the third visit President Carter has paid to the Late Show. He also visited on Oct. 18, 2004 and Sept. 28. 1993. Worldwide Pants Incorporated produces The Late Show with David Letterman.
