The eminent Masterpiece on PBS has disclosed the debut schedules and presented initial glimpses of the forthcomings of Miss Scarlet and the Duke and All Creatures Great and Small. On January 7, 2024, According to Deadline, the duo of British dramas will commence their fourth seasons. Miss Scarlet and The Duke, with Kate Phillips (Peaky Blinders) portraying Eliza, will open the night at 8 p.m., and, at 9, it will be followed immediately by All Creatures Great and Small.
In the new season of Miss Scarlet and The Duke, Eliza has taken over and assumed the mantle of Nash & Sons. However, things are not functioning flawlessly, though she receives some assistance from some familiar sources. Meanwhile, her synergy with William, who is portrayed by Stuart Martin(Army Of Theives) and graced with the title The Duke, amplifies as they face an impending decision that will significantly influence both of them.
All Creatures Great and Small’s fourth season, set in the springtime of 1940, shows that change is looming on the horizon for everyone in Skeldale House. James and Helen are mulling over commencing a family, with James’s potential call-up to serve in the RAF creating uncertainty. The absence of Tristan is deeply felt by all, particularly Siegfried, who takes on the task of holding the growing household, and himself, together as he navigates this new world. Mrs Hall and Helen’s rapport blossoms as they look to the future, and new veterinary student Richard Carmody’s arrival complicates matters in the house. Miss Scarlet and The Duke is a production of Element 8 Entertainment, co-produced by Masterpiece, in association with 87 Films, Other Mans Shoes, and Work in Progress.
