‘Poker Face’ Adds New Guest Stars For Second Season, Including Giancarlo Esposito, Katie Holmes, and Kumail Nanjiani

According to Deadline, Peacock’s Poker Face series has revealed a new set of guest stars for its second season. Newcomers include Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul), Gaby Hoffman (Field Of Dreams, Sleepless In Seattle), Katie Holmes (Batman Begins, The Dark Knight) and Kumail Nanjiani (The Big Sick, Eternals).

The series’ IMDB description reads, “Charlie has an extraordinary ability to determine when someone is lying. She hits the road with her Plymouth Barracuda and with every stop encounters a new cast of characters and strange crimes she can’t help but investigate and solve.”

The series currently holds a 98 percent critic score and an 81 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. It also won an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series.

The series stars Natasha Lyonne (Russian Doll, Orange Is The New Black) as Charlie. Throughout the first season, guess stars included Adrien Brody (Detachment, King Kong), Chloë Sevigny (Kids, American Psycho), Ron Perlman (Hellboy, Sons Of Anarchy), Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Don John, Inception), Clea DuVall (Happiest Season, But I’m A Cheerleader), Stephanie Hsu (Joy Ride, The Fall Guy), Dascha Polanco (Orange Is The New Black, The Perfect Match), Megan Suri (It Lives Inside, The Kiss List), Hong Chau (The Whale, The Night Agent), Judith Light (Ugly Betty, Who’s The Boss), Danielle Macdonald (The Tourist, Skin), Tim Meadows (The Ladies Man, Mean Girls), Ellen Barkin (Sea Of Love, Animal Kingdom), Charles Melton (Riverdale, The Sun Is Also A Star), Jameela Jamil (Love At First Sight, The Good Place), Rhea Perlman (Barbie, Cheers) and Rowan Blanchard (Invisible Sister, A Wrinkle In Time).

The show is executive produced by Rian Johnson (Knives Out, Looper), Ram Bergman (Don Jon, Brick), Lyonne, Adam Arkin (Chicago Hope, Pig), Nena Rodrigue (3 Body Problem, Lost & Found), Lilla Zuckerman (Prodigal Son, Haven), Nora Zuckerman (Agents Of Shield, Suits) and Tony Tost (Americana Damnation), who also serves as showrunner.
