According to Deadline, Aaron Kaplan’s (The Neighborhood, Black Cats) production company, Kapital Entertainment, has partnered with Amazon and MGM Studios to produce a television series based on the podcast star Tinx’s debut novel.
Deadline Reports, Christina Najjar (Hotter In The Hamptons, It’s Me, Tinx), who goes by Tinx on her podcast, will co-write the romantic comedy series alongside a showrunner who has yet to be identified. Her book, The Shift: Change Your Perspective, Not Yourself, is a practical guide that navigates life, love, happiness, and friendship. Perhaps intending to recapture some of the early 2000s Sex And The City magic, the series will follow two thirty-something women as they make their way through life and relationships in New York City.

Via Deadline, in addition to serving as co-creator, Najjar will executive produce with Kaplan. Troy Zien(Man With A Plan, Jeff Dunham: Beside Himself) and Dunia McNeily(Honest Renovations, Dark History) of 3 Arts Entertainment will also join as executive producers, with Jaiden Kaplan(One Mile, One More Mile) of Kapital Productions taking on the title of co-executive producer.
As stated by Deadline, the original book, The Shift: Change Your Perspective, Not Yourself, was published by Simon & Schuster in May 2023 and did not take long to find its way to The New York Times’ bestseller list. Erin(Daddy Issues, The New Normal) and Sara Foster(Barely Famous, 90210), the sibling duo behind Netflix’s hit series Nobody Wants This, have optioned Najjar’s 2025 follow-up novel Hotter In The Hamptons. The series will be a co-production of Foster’s production company, Fatigue Sisters, and 20th Century.
Via Deadline, in addition to Najjar’s literary efforts, Tinx also hosts a live call-in style radio show named It’s Me,Tinx for Sirius XM. Najjar is currently represented by WME, 3 Arts Entertainment, and Scott B. Oranburg at Paul Hastings.
