Veterans Day this year will be accompanied by a special contribution from Pivot TV.
A documentary by Ric Roman Waugh titled That Which I Love Destroys Me will be premiered by Pivot, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film will focus on post-traumatic stress disorder and its effects on veterans returning from war. Specifically, the documentary will center on the lives of two best friends, Tyler Grey (Delta Force) and Jayson Floyd (Army Ranger), and how PTSD not only affects their everyday lives, but also the lives of their loved ones.
“Our intentions (with this documentary) are to break the stigma veterans face of asking for help and to show through Tyler and Jayson’s own personal journeys with PTSD how society can help normalize the reintegration process for our returning men and women,” The Hollywood Reporter has quoted by Waugh.
That Which I Love Destroys Me is part of a Pivot initiative known as ‘Return to Service’, which aims to celebrate the continued bravery that veterans must exhaust post-war. The initiative is a year-long venture that will include a 10-city tour of Waugh, Grey, and Floyd, who are set to promote and screen the documentary for veterans all over the country.
That Which I Love Destroys Me is set to premiere November 11th at 7 ST / 4 PST.
