Percy Jackson and the Olympians’ Renewed for Season Three at Disney+, First Look Revealed After Season Two Finale

As stated in an official Disney’s press release, Disney+ has confirmed that Percy Jackson and the Olympians will return for a third season later this year, providing fans with an early glimpse of what to expect after the shocking Season Two finale. As per Disney’s press release, those who remained for the end credits of the finale were treated to a surprise sneak peek at the upcoming season, laying the groundwork for the next chapter of the series.

As noted by Disney’s official press release, all episodes of Season Two are now available to stream on Disney+ and Hulu, allowing audiences to fully catch up before the demigod adventure continues. The second season stars Walker Scobell (The Adam Project, Secret Headquarters), Leah Sava Jeffries (Beast, Something from Tiffany’s), and Aryan Simhadri (Spin, Cheaper by the Dozen), alongside Charlie Bushnell (Diary of a Future President, Love, Victor), Dior Goodjohn (Head of the Class, Glee), and Daniel Diemer (The Half of It, Moonshot).

Per Disney’s official press release, Season Two also featured an expansive lineup of recurring and guest stars, including Lin-Manuel Miranda (Hamilton, In the Heights), Jason Mantzoukas (The Good Place, Brooklyn Nine-Nine), Courtney B. Vance (The People v. O.J. Simpson, Lovecraft Country), Andra Day (The United States vs. Billie Holiday, Marshall), Adam Copeland (Vikings, Haven), Kristen Schaal (Bob’s Burgers, What We Do in the Shadows), Margaret Cho (Fire Island, Drop Dead Diva), and Sandra Bernhard (Roseanne, Pose), among others.

According to Disney’s official press release, created by Rick Riordan (Percy Jackson & the Olympians book series, The Kane Chronicles) and Jonathan E. Steinberg (Black Sails, Jericho), the series is executive produced by Steinberg and Dan Shotz (Black Sails, Jericho) alongside Riordan, Rebecca Riordan, Craig Silverstein (Turn: Washington’s Spies, Nikita), and a large producing team that includes Ellen Goldsmith-Vein (Maze Runner, The Fault in Our Stars) and Bert Salke (The Handmaid’s Tale, Haunting of Hill House).

As stated by Disney’s official press release, Disney also continues to expand the franchise beyond the screen with the Percy Jackson and the Olympians Official Podcast, an unscripted companion series that offers behind-the-scenes insight into Season Two.
