According to a Deadline Article the four time Emmy nominated series Poker Face has added new cast members who will be joining the upcoming second season. Deadline says the members who have already been announced include Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul) , Katie Holmes (Alone Together, The Secret: Dare To Dream), Gaby Hoffmann (Little Death, C’mon C’mon), Kumail Nanjiani (Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire, Destroy All Neighbors) , Sherry Cola (A Family Affair, Thelma The Unicorn), Kevin Corrigan (Bang Bang, Black Out), Ben Marshall (Please Don’t Destroy: The Treasure of Foggy Mountain), Kathrine Narducci (A Bronx Tale, The Alto Nights) , Cynthia Erivo (Wicked, Harriet), BJ Novak (Vengance, The Founder), Margo Martindale (Cocaine Bear, Family Squares), John Mulaney (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, Big Mouth), Ego Nwodim (Players, Genie), Sam Richardson (Detroiters, The Afterparty), Awkwafina (Jackpot, IF), Corey Hawkins (The Piano Lesson, The Color Purple), Simon Rex (Greedy People, The Sweet East) and Method Man (On The Come Up, Shaft).

The new members include Davonte Ganter (Bel-air, DAVE), Justin Theroux (Beetlejuice Beetlejuice, Violet), John Cho (Afraid, The Graduates), Haley Joel Osment (Blink Twice, Drugstore June), and Patti Harrison (Turn Me On, Theater Camp). Deadline has stated that their specific roles are not disclosed yet.

Per Deadline the first season of this show aired on Peacock in 2023 and was created, written and directed by Rian Johnson (Knives Out, Star Wars: The Last Jedi), follows a character named Charlie played by Natasha Lyonne (But I’m A Cheerleader, His Three Daughters) who “has an extraordinary ability to determine when someone is lying.” says Deadline.

For the upcoming second season the show will be executive produced by show runner Tony Tost (The Terror, Damnation) along with Johnson, Lyonne, Ram Bergman (Glass Onion, Selfless), Nena Rodrigue (Poor White Trash, Venus & Vegas), Adam Arkin (The Americans, The Bridge), Nora Zuckerman (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. , Haven) and Lilla Zuckerman (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Haven) according to Deadline.
