According to TVLine, Peacock released the trailer for the second season of their true crime drama series, Based on a True Story. The series stars Kaley Cuoco and Chris Messina. View the trailer below.
The show is about A realtor, a former tennis star, and a plumber seize a unique opportunity to capitalize on America’s obsession with true crime. Season one of the Based On A True Story aired on June 8th ,2023 on peacock .

The first season went so well Peacock announced on Thursday that they’ve decided to bring Based On A True Story back for second season which is set to air November 21,2024. According to an article via Tv Line . Kaley Cuoco who plays Ava is embarking on her pregnancy journey , but nothing will stop her love for true crime stories .
The new and first plot line for the season follows a hunch Ava has that her sisters boyfriend Matt and she has suspesions that he’s a murderer . Just like the first season the second season will have eight episodes as well.
Three months into parenthood, Ava(Cuoco)and Nathan Bartlett (Messina) are adjusting to their new roles. Ava has returned to her career as a real estate agent, and Nathan is finding success as a private tennis coach.
While things seem well in their personal lives , there are still many murders happening around town . With the new string of murders Ava falls right back to her old ways being Obsessed with the idea of solving true crime stories . According to Tv Line Ava does her best not to jump to conclusions “until danger comes knocking, literally,” according to Peacock.
